If you are trademarking for the Amazon Brand Registry, our trademark law firm can help. We work with hundreds of Amazon sellers to protect their brand names on the world’s largest retail platform.
To be eligible for Amazon Brand Registry, you must have an active registered trademark in the country in which you are applying. The trademark for your brand must be in the form of a text-based mark (word mark) or an image-based mark with words, letters, or numbers (stylize logo mark). Your mark must be registered on the Principal Register. At this time, a registration on the Supplemental Trademark Register does not qualify for the Amazon Brand Registry.
To start the Brand Registry process, you must apply for and obtain a federal registration for your mark. Once your mark is registered, you will receive notification with the Certificate of Registration from our office. You may then submit your application to Amazon for the Brand Registry. Amazon will send our firm a verification code (this is to ensure the correct trademark owner has applied and to reduce fraud). We will email you the verification code once received. You will then complete the Amazon Brand Registry process using your verification code.
